I've got 4 hard drives in my main box right now Slade, so that's why I didn't bother putting all the pre-redo steps down. Already have all the antivirus and such downloaded to a secondary drive ahead of time.

That and I'm not much for all the 'pretty' crap people get bent outta shape over whenever a box has to be redone. I share my bookmarks file between my htpc and my main, so if one craps out, the other is always there. Beyond that, all my big shit is on secondary drives, and I could give a crap less whether OpenOffice remembers all my little settings and whatnot. If I need a program, I'll download and install it, but I'm far from religious about making sure I have every single utility I had on my own install in my new one.

Back in the K6-2 days, they came out with a PC that had one...just ONE fan for the entire machine. It was located on the bottom of the power supply, and was extremely prone to failing. Litterally, no other fans in the thing, no vent fans, not even a freaking fan on the CPU.

My girlfriend at the time's family bought four of the bastards, and me being the geek I am, I had to replace two of the burnt-out power supplies they had, and soldered up new fans in the two others (free of course). But it was worth it. Good old Loretta...had the most fantastic set of tits any guy could ask for, voice of an angel, and long black hair right down to her ass.

What was freaky though is that we both had the same last name. Considering her family was origonally from Arizona, there was no chance we were related, but it still got us the odd look here and there (even in this state).

You could have really fucked with people, and when addressing the honey in public go "hey sis...I mean darling."

Conversations with people would usually start out with them usually making a comment about us being surprised we got married right out of high school (19 at the time). We'd explain that we weren't married, that it was just a coincidence. Then it's be that look on their face of 'They can't brother and sister.....cousins?' and it was always the same look of shock no matter who it was. Like we were just being so blatant and open about it and didn't care. Was actually pretty funny to the two of us.

She moved to Fail though years ago. Can't say I blame her, there isn't exactly much opportunity for amatuer opera singers around here.

You might laugh, but it was certainly her passion. This thing at one time had about 7 of her songs on there, but there's only one left.

Had some really good times with this one, we drove 2 1/2 hours one night into DC for a 4th of July celebration concert by the MSO, then just walked around the Mall till probably 2am.

Never forget her on the steps of the Natural History museum, singing at the top of her lungs in that voice....

We've both moved on of course to different people and different things in life, but still talk occasionally. Inevitably she always talks about that night (mostly because of how mad her mom was when we came back at 4am, thinking we had spent the night screwing in the back of my truck somewhere )

Back on topic (sort of), my HD is in, copying what's on the drive I'm going to use for Windows 7. Sweet. I read on ZA's forums that they don't support Windows 7 yet? Not sweet.

Installed. Had to deal with some shit because my mobo is old and first it wouldn't recognize my sata2 drive, and after that I had an issue with the LAN drivers. Otherwise no problemo! I have an Asrock 939 Dual Sata 2, I wonder if I have anything to install? What do you guys use for the anti virus?
