I had rodgers in one of the other leagues. My opponent had jennings. it was so awesome of him to put up a record week with shit to jennings. I won because of it

I have a team that has 3 receivers on bye this week, and I only had 4 receivers on my roster. I don't even know who some of these stiffs are that I'm starting this week.

The Niners signed Crabtree finally. With 17 mil guaranteed. Now let's see if they will even be able to get him the ball.

Let's see if he gets on the field before mid-November. He missed all of camp, which basically set his development behind a full year. He hasn't practiced with the team yet. Dude needs to make up for lost time, rapidamente!

True. And we all saw how well Russell did after missing camp with the Raiders......................

I don't think attending 5 camps would have helped Russell. Once again, Al Davis went for the guy with the biggest arm, and not a guy possessing actual quarterbacking skill. Sure, he can throw the ball 80 yards in the air, but he can't put a 5 yard pass in a spot where it can be caught. Al Davis is a sucker for extremes...the fastest guy (Heyward-Bey, James Jett) or the guy with the biggest arm, or the kicker with the biggest leg (Janikowski). He doesn't seem to understand the difference between tools and talent. What's really puzzling about all of his issues is that in the 60's and 70's, the man was a football genius. How do you go from the cutting edge in the 60's to a laughingstock later? Maybe he just never progressed beyond evaluating talent by 1960's standards.

I can officially say it after watching 5 games so far this year...the Tom Brady is not the same QB he was before his injury. He can't throw deep. He can't complete short passes. The Patriots have a big, expensive problem on their hands. I thought it would take a game or two to get his rhythm back, but he's had plenty of time for that. His accuracy is gone. We're fucked.

his deep ball is horrid. Stupid Brady!! At least I have Big Ben. I started him over Brady this week. Something that I never thought I would have to do.

Attempting a trade in my local league....I get Brees/Manningham he gets Ryan/Marshall. We start just two WR and two RB (no flex), and I have A.Johnson and White as my two WR, so Marshall's been on my bench all year (hurray 9th round trade bait pick). Plus QBs get a point every 20 yards instead of 25, so the pass heavy offense of the saints could be good.

Would be nice to mediate some risk by not having the White/Ryan combo every week. Hopefully ryan's big week and brees' mediocre last couple will push the guy to accept.
