IDK about the charger. That's taking alternating current from your wall socket instead of direct current from a battery. I don't know a whole lot about being an electrician, though.

Twisting the wires and taping them should work as well as solder, though.

You'd soon find out. Just test it and make sure the fan is spinning the right way.

Won't the charger change it to DC anyway?

I'd be tempted to use an old PC PSU. You must have one lying around somewhere. Hell, I threw 2 away recently. Nowt wrong with them, they were just too low powered for modern PC's.

Id rather not use a PC PSU unless i was going to use it to power my lamp aswell. The more simple and easily portable battery or cell phone charger seems best. Down side of the batterry is that it will run out, which may leave no ventilation for say 12 hours, which aint a bigge but still.

Reckon ill pop into maplins (electrical/puter/gadget shop) and have a word. Happy to fuck around with a battery though.

9v batteries are like womens arseholes. You know its silly, and you shouldnt do it, but you cant help putting your tongue on it.

I just found out from a chilli forum that it doesnt matter which way i wire up the charger (low voltage), the fan will just spin in the opposite direction, which is no problem.

Im planning to grow at least one super hot chilli plant (lulz more than anything), ill prolly pick the one i like the look of.

Choices between, the Dorset Naga, Scotch Bonnet and a Habenero....all of which you wear fucking gloves when handling....and you dont eat directly.

Check out the Scoville rating on the goddamn Dorset Naga!!!
Its like half the strength of police pepper spray!
Imagine squirting some n00b with that, fuck yeah!

I saw some Scotch Bonnets in the supermarket today. Thought about getting them just for the seeds, but I dont have my grow op set up yet.

Hey Slade!

Im nearly ready to start my grow op so need to buy some seeds.
Any suggestions from a pepperphile?

Im gonna grow 2 ornamentals (helps with space and they cool).
1-2 firely hot ones (Dorset naga and scotch bonnet)
...and i have space for 3-4 other species.

Im looking at getting something good for cooking/taste etc, preferably a prolific one, dont care how it looks.

What are your faves?

The whole process has slowed down now, these are ripening slowly.
Will be the final harvest before i have to cut them back for winter proper. Doubt there will be much fruit to come.

Here is the nursery, these fuckers should fruit like mad in the summer as they have a head start on the season.

I can't believe you still have green things outdoors. Everything here is already brown and dead.
