The league is full now. Had to sign up one of my last friends, but it is done and we are ready for draft.

Good luck, draft night is monday, march 23, 8:30 EDT!

Had a moment of panic yesterday when I realized I have a guitar lesson and thought the draft was 6:30. I should be getting home right about 7.

As always, i'd suggest doing some mock drafts and/or changing your default rankings to the draft avgs. Unless you think a-rod should go number 1.

ps. agaveheads is a big yankees fan. so he'll prolly be overpaying for them left and right. I hope i draft by him.

I forget, how does the draft present itself again? When is the order determined? Right now I see no link to take me to the "draft room". Will it become clear at a given time or something?


Oh FFS, I just noticed the damn thing isn't until tomorrow. I thought I read somewhere that it would be today. Sigh.

I just heard something on ESPN that blew me away. The average ticket price at the new Yankee Stadium is $267. Who the fuck do they think is gonna come to games? Like Joey from the Bronx can afford $1000 in this climate to take his 3 kids to a ballgame??

I'm picking agaveheads to finish last this year. I kinda felt bad for him when he picked Pedro and I pointed out he doesn't have a team. "That will be a problem."

I still can't believe he picked Eckstein in the 5th round and Johnny Damon in the 6th...and then let Matsui sit there until I got him with my last pick.

Props to Koz for getting the job done and getting almost all of his buddies to show up for the draft.

So in that other league he went from setting lineups daily to setting lineups on sunday for the week. what kind of ass backward thing is that? all teams play on sunday, the final game of the weekend series. seems silly to have the week start in the middle of that.
