There's a reason I went about a year without playing poker. Shit like that happened to me non-stop for about a month. It can be brutal.

I rarely win with a pair of Ace's when it goes all the way. Hate those fucking cards.

If you're rarely winning with a pari of aces, you're not ending the hand early enough. You shouldn't give people a chance to suck out on you.

I usually don't think and go all in right away...I'm pretty shit at cards though.

You don't need to go all in right off. You just need to extract maximum value, and close the hand whhile you still have the best cards. I used to hate betting my cards and making someone fold, but it's better then letting them hang around and suck out, though.

The guy with the sixes wasn't the big idiot. He was playing top pair with a King kicker. The idiot was the guy with the fives... going all the way with fives and a four kicker is ... disgusting. He'd say that he had a straight draw, but I don't count gutshot straight draws at all.

I think you could've possibly won the hand with a bigger raise before the flop. Your min-raise (although it's the Schlippz-style) wasn't enough to put pressure on anyone. Should've raised to 10 bucks.
