...does something like THIS happen? I understand the driver was an elderly woman (i.e. a threat-level red) but I'm still amazed at how something like this happens when you're just trying to stop your car between two lines on the pavement.

Notice the woman was called Tripta Kaushal. Sounds Asian in origin. Old Asian women are, in my humble opinion, the worst drivers on the planet.

BMW drivers are shit drivers. Women are shit drivers. Old people are shit drivers. Asian folk (by this I mean of Indian, Pakistan, Bangladeshi origin, not what you guys would call Asian as in Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc) are also invariably shitty drivers. By their powers combined you get what you see in that video.

I dunno how the Chinese and Japanese are at driving, but when they walk, they clog up the whole sidewalk walking 6 abreast at a near crawl. Maybe my giant American legs just chew up a million times more pavement with every step.

We can learn from these people aboot traffick behavior.
