Choda, what you need is a ferret with a camera on his head to go wandering through small spaces for you and beam back what he's seeing.

This is what you need, Choda. It will send a tone signal down the line so you can use the wand to locate it. I used to have one, but I gave it to a friend since I wasnt doing any more cabling installations. I bet radio shack has em.

At some point, he's gonna demolish his house. I'll give him credit, he's feeling industrious and handy. But since the French are not know for being either industrious or handy, I see this all ending badly.
