He's gotta keep his front foot closed. Also his hips aren't squared up until after contact...he's missing a good junk of power. Fuck I miss working for Doyle...youngest level 2 instructor they had. Loved that job. ...sigh....
OK...so I reckon this is as good a place as any. I've got the photography bug. bad. I had saved up about $1500 for a new computer but I've lost the itch. figure this quad 9300 can last another year. I've got another $500 or so coming from Mom for xmas via a gift certificate to a camera shop...figure it'll get me a lens. so...2k...maybe a bit more...I need to put something together before I hit Japan in April. April in Japan is cherry blossom time...if you've ever seen it in Washington than times it by a million. We're going to hit Kyoto for a couple days and this will be my second time during cherry blossom and it's nothing short of stellar. I'd like to have something put together well before so I'm somewhat competent. Wide angles inside and out for sure and lots of family shots outside and in low light temples. Action shots too I'd imagine.
What do I need...everything. Including lots of help. Total noob. I'm guessing Kenny and Span are good resources so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've also seen Greenie post some great pics of models and it wouldn't surprise me if other members know how to wield a camera too.
Stores I'm looking to buy from:
http://www.downtowncamera.com/http://www.vistek.ca/If recommendations are overwhelmingly in favor of going the rebel route with more spent on lens I'll do it but truth be told I'd like to get a better body...so my thoughts are something like a CANON DSLR 50D W/18-200 IS KIT and then grabbing a half decent prime 50mm...probably have enough scratch to grab another lens before April.
Also I may be a fuckwit but I'm not a fag...no Nikon shit.
