Voice of reason on....Fox News??

Postby Koz on Thu Jun 11, 2009 2:31 am

This is prolly just posturing on their part as a network, but Shepard Smith calls out the crazy right wingers who email their network.

The crazy doctor killer. That Holocaust museum shooter guy.

I don't get why people were all bent out of shape about that DHS memo. This shit is happening for reals now. :freak:

I forsee Shep's past DUI conviction being dragged into this. "He's too drunk to know the truth when he reads it!"

lol, prolly. And this is somewhat related to right-wing craziness. On another board i post at, someone was trying to bash letterman for a joke in which, the user claimed, that he said Palin's 14 year old should be raped. Letterman's words were taken out of context one could see even after reading the link in the OP, but this was one of the inital responses to the guy's "outrage" about the joke from the "left."

Let me make sure I'm understanding your complaint, xxxx. See, I'm not at my best today; I was just coming to terms with one right-wing terrorist murdering a doctor last week, and while I was still reeling from that another one of your terrorists comes into my town, shoots up the Holocaust museum, and murders a security guard who was only there to protect people. All of this, of course, is in the context of your pundits spewing eliminationist rhetoric about how the people need to rise up against the liberals and minorities and gays that are apparently bent on destroying this country, and demanding apologies and resignations over the suggestion that law enforcement should be prepared to deal with right-wing extremism. So I want to make sure that I'm not letting my own grief cloud my ability to offer you the proper sympathy for what has gotten you so upset.

It was more to the point that I'm sure our government has been watching loonies for awhile, its not even some BS side effect of the patriot act.

It is just people got so pissed off when it was actually made public. Did they really expect our government, which has the ability to fuck with so many other countries around the world, to not know what its own people are up to?

Loonies is loonies. Little FYI though, the right-wing crazies haven't just popped up overnight, Obama is basically a catalyst that's set them all off lately. Personally I could do without PETA or Greenpeace myself, if the right got rid of Joe the Plumber. 2 for 1 special.

Seriously, I sit back at work or in one of the local dive bars, just listen to conversations cropping up...it's some scary shit people say about him. I'll fully admit I hated Bush's guts, but I didn't hear it being openly discussed about how to kill the bastard or why he should be eliminated.

God help the man if he ever swings through this state. Got too many crazies with too many long-range rifles that are just stupid enough to use them.

Oh, i agree. That is the crazy thing, Bush fucked up horribly throughout his time in office, and while there were a few crazy lefties that wanted his head, many people didn't think that was neccessary. But Obama has been there for just a few months and the crazies wanted him dead the day after the election, only getting worse as time passes it seems.

I hear all the crazy shit about Obama here in SD too. I honestly would be fearful of my life if i was in his position, and fearful from my own citizens more than the world at large. There are so many people around here that are so openly racist and frankly upset that he is president that I am not sure what lengths they would go to.

That's the thing, the people who tend to disagree with Bush are the rational ones, so few would even think of hurting him. The ones who dislike Obama, well, it's the contrary...
Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more cowbell!

 Not really. I contemplated running at the gates with my shotty when Bush won the rigged 2004 election. It was a brief thought, but a violent one nonetheless.

That would have been awesome to watch on CNN. Brief, but awesome.

You prolly would have ended up like Sonny Corleone.
