Wireless?

Any XBOXers use the wireless NIC?? Any opinions?

I refused to pay $100 for it. I used an old Linksys WRT54G and DD-WRT firmware to turn the router into a wireless client. I connect the router to the ethernet port on the xbox, and it doesn't know it's getting a wireless signal. It saved me so much money.

This is one of the big failings of the xbox. The Wii and Ps3 come with integrated wireless. It's shameful the xbox doesn't have it. I guess that's the tradeoff for better games and a better online service.

I just looked it up. Doesn't look like it will work with the routers I have. I will keep searching. Thanks for the tip. Maybe the first useful thing you have ever posted :lulz:
