I  Rovers from the 70's. The V8 3.5 Litre. Very thirsty though.

I'm loving this soap opera shit. Bernie Ecclestone thinks the FIA was too heavy-handed with Briatore, and he's encouraged him to appeal. He also happens to be Briatore's best friend. The clowns running F1 just can't stop topping their own absurdity.

I love picturing the dude getting spanked in a Nazi uniform during his interviews.

I thought that was the Moseley fuckup, not the Ecclestone fuckup. They're all fuckups in that "sport"!

So it can be shown at a reasonable time in Europe?

I watched a bit of it until the commentator said summat like "this guy has a faster car than the one in front, a lighter fuel load and fresher tyres but he has no way past on this circuit". Fuck that then, I turned over, what's the point if there's never any overtaking. You see more overtaking in one lap of MotoGP than you do in a whole season of F1. Shite.

Toyota, the worlds largest car manufacturer cannot afford to stay in F1.

BMW and Honda arent actually small either, and they cant manage it?

The sport really isn't economically viable at this point, at least not from the manufacturers' point of view.

The economy has tanked. Sales are down all across the board. I'd imagine it's hard to justify the expense of an F1 team to the Board or stockholders. Besides, nobody's gonna decide whether to buy a Toyota based on their performance in F1. Teams like Porsche and Ferrari...the luxury brands...they're the ones who use F1 as advertising. Toyota sells sedans to families.

Nobody buys a car because of F1.

Toyota is just playing games. After the spectacular performance of that new guy Kobayashi the last two races, Toyota can't afford not to race. What a great drive that guy put in. He made Buttocks whinge over the radio!

Jarno Trulli. What an ass.

I've actually watched a bit of F1 here and there over the past couple of months. It doesn't seem very competitive. Always the same teams/drivers in the front and very little passing. It's more of a parade of fast cars than racing, eh?
