Runs pretty damn smooth on my box. Even with everything maxxed (except those sliders that adjust uber-view distance, cars on screen ,etc), I can play it at 1680x1050 no problem.
On a completely unrelated note: Serious Sam HD is up for sale now on Steam. $17.99 is worth it, just for the co-op.

This vid certainly made the thing look tasty. Painting targets so you can take them out easily would be a huge advantage and certainly give the grunts a leg up....plus...the thompson...
