There are only two world-class players at Anfield these days. Lose one of them and you guys are fucked.

Gerrard has been crying in the press recently about losing Alonso. Losing him blew any chance Livershite had of winning the league. Lose 1 from Gerrard and Torres and they're relegation candidates.

Could Voronin be the worst player to play in the Prem ever?

Voronin is kinda poor, but not the worst.

Reina and Mascerano are World class.

Carragher and Johnson are close, get in any prem team.

Yeah you got Torres - Gerrard - Mascherano - Caragher. Pretty much the spine of the team who are very good. Same old Liverpool dilemma - no girth!

Mascherano might be world class on a planet full of shit footballers. he's Gennaro Gattuso without any talent.

I kinda feel that his talent has been wasted, in part due to mismanagement from Benitez. Back in 06 when he first showed up at the World Cup he was a class prospect, and he has had very good games in the Liverpool shirt although they have been far between. I was actually one of those who wanted Fergie to sign him up because we at the time could have used a hard defensive midfielder as a rotation option.

Argentina captain in rotation?
Hes regarded as the best holding midfielder in the World.

Pompey totally imploded today, were in front and cruising....then lose a 6 pointer to relegation rivals.

Yeah by scousers and fuckwits.

He's not bad but he's certainly not the best around. Not even the best in the prem.

That's ridiculous, I cannot understand how you can place him above the likes of Essien, Cambiasso and even players who are much inferior to those - Carrick, for instance. He is a player with thee potential to become the new Makelele, but right now he isn't even close to reaching that mark. His arrogance doesn't help that at all, too.

I'm nervous as fuck about the Chelsea game. Granted this set of players can accomplish any feat on the right day, but Chelsea look far more strong in these months than they have at any point in the last 3 seasons.

Fuck that, we didn't deserve to lose. Props to Chelsea & Terry though, it was so even that it easily could've gone either way. We played really well and managed to lock one of the world's best midfields out of play. I'm proud of the performance, we played like Champions even away from home.

However, that game was badly mis-refereed. Chelsea were robbed of a corner, Terry managed to elbow Valencia and pull him down in the box without anything on it and Evans was let away with putting his studs into Drogba's chest. Also, we missed out on at least 15 seconds for the injury time substitution plus whatever time should have been added for the play stoppages.

I thought we were gonna get murdered so was happy with the performance. We looked the better side. Alas luck and ref decisions didn't go our way. Shit happens. We'll get one go our way next time and the ABU's will be harping on about it for weeks conveniently forgetting today.

Maybe by his mother and some faggot in the south of England. He wouldn't make Arsenal's midfield.

I had a game at 8 am this morning (Sunday)... 38F at kickoff. Then the weather turned awesome! Were down 0-1 after a couple of minutes, then 1-1, then down 1-2 again, then 2-2, then again 2-3... and then something clicked and we beat them 9-3! :yay: I missed a goal again, last time was a screamer than ended on the bar, this time a header that was almost dropped clean on my head, super easy, beautiful cross, and I missed... but I did get a nice goal assist and got a corner kick that led to a goal, so not so bad... I played on turf for the first time. Nice change from the usual crap field that's 90% dirt and 10% grass... :yay:

On another note, I know you guys don't care about the Ligue Un, but today's high profile game between Marseille and Lyon ended with a 5-5, with a last goal for the tie scored at the 92nd minute. That must have been nice to watch.
Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more cowbell!
