Lemme gotta tell you. Bunnies suck. Them frigging things are all up in my garden. The strawberries are gone. The Swiss Chard is tattered. The peas... forgetaboutem. My Basils, my dills, Oh! the radishes... Bunnies must die.

But the chickens! I tended chickens for the first time today. So dumb... but so endearing. They sat on my head. cluck cluck cluck. So dumb... but! Is there a better source of protein in all the world? Feed a hen 38 cents worth of scratch, then let her run around your backyard for a summer, and get two dozen eggs. Rinse Lather Repeat. Healthy eggs! No Cholesterol!

We went to a pet store a bit ago and they had 2 giant rabbits that an owner had returned cos they were too big. They had a big sign up saying "Please don't feed us because we're too fat". Looked inside and they were fuckin mammoths! Made me LMAO just looking at them. Shoulda got a pic.

No, people just don't know how to care for their rabbits. Somehow, they think you just stick them in a cage and never let them out. My rabbit was rescued from someone who hadn't let him out of his 4'x2' cage for FIVE YEARS. He was as round as a bowling ball when he arrived here. he's got free run of the house and he's sleek as shit now.

People also think you're supposed to feed a rabbit carrots, which is exactly what to do if you want a fat rabbit with bad teeth.

I'm on a rabbit forum and people come in asking the dumbest shit. "My rabbit is pooping pudding. is that cos I give her jellybeans?"

I nearly managed to convince a guy on /b/ that you need to shave your kitten regularly to ensure it's fur stays soft. Several /b/tards backed me up until several stepped in saying "DO NOT SHAVE YOUR KITTEN".

Yeah, "I'm on a rabbit forum" sounds pretty weak. The upside is that almost all of the other posters are female and from the UK or Oz. There's a very cute girl named Jenny from Manchester, Spanders. Want digits?

I had to swallow my pride to join that forum, but a rabbit's gut is a very finicky thing, and I needed some help on how to feed him and when. It's not as simple as just bundling some lettuce in his cage.
