[CAT] Scratching Post

I haven't played in a while so I decided that I would throw some money down and see what would happen. $5 sit and go on Poker Stars.

I was playing well for the most part. Knocked 2 guys out and was sitting in 2nd place. There were 6 people left at the table.

I have the button with A 10os. I limp in after everyone in front of me folds. The SB folds and the BB checks. Flop comes A Q 4 rainbow. BB bets out minimum bet. I raise to the pot. He waits then comes back over top of me for all of his chips. About half of my remaining chips. I call thinking that he is trying to buy this after he limped in and with my top pair I wasn't going to let him push me around. He turns over AQ. I am fucked he takes it down. That was pretty much the end for me. I lasted a few more hands but didn't win anything. Ended up going out on the BB with 84os. It was fun to play again. I think that I will do another one tonight. Hopefully my thought process will be better.

I wouldn't have called his all-in. Not with ATos.
Keep in mind that limpers are oftenly more dangerous than aggressors. Lots and lots of people are slow-playing their opponents.

Yeah. I know. But I decided that I wasn't going to let him push me out with top pair. It was dumb. I knew it when I did it. But if I was right I would have put myself in great position to cash.

Dude! I feel for you, A 10 is the kiss of death hand. I can't tell you how many catastrophic hands have come with me holding A 10.

Hey 25th...I ended up winning that SnG. Another $10 for me.

I had a feeling you were going to win it. 4th place sucked, but at least I got to sleep before 1 AM. I'm going to have to save poker SnG's for non work nights. Fucking dragging today.

hell yeah, on ub? what's your schedule like today? holly and i boy are gone until 8 or 10 pm, so i can deposit some funds and play a bit with you guys.

SnG's are the way to go for me. Took a First and a Third last night.
