What does "mucked" mean?

And does anyone know the probability of making a flush if you're dealt 2 cards of the same suit? I've been calling pre-flop raises when I have 2 cards of the same suit (assuming it's not like a 2 and a 4 or some shit) thinking I'm always in with a shout of a flush but I'm beginning to think that might be folly. For example if I'da got the 4 and jack of clubs like wot Mud got there I'd have had a go with that. At least tried to see the flop.

Nevermind, just looked it up. Apparently it's a common mistake for novices to place too much value on their hand simply cos they're the same suit.

Lesson learned.
